What Presencia is
Presencia is a marketplace that connects people seeking a listening conversation with independent professionals — psychologists, therapists, and coaches. Presencia is not a clinical service, not a medical provider, and not a substitute for emergency care. If you are in crisis or experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
Independent professionals
Professionals on Presencia are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Presencia. They are solely responsible for the content, quality, and conduct of their conversations and for holding any licenses, insurance, and credentials required in their jurisdiction. Presencia facilitates introductions and payments but does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to use Presencia lawfully and respectfully, to treat professionals and other users with care, and to not use the platform for harassment, illegal activity, or any clinical or emergency purpose for which it is not designed. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Payments
Paid sessions and memberships are billed through our payment provider. Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes where required. By purchasing, you authorize the charge to your chosen payment method. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your account.
Refunds
If a paid session does not take place due to a professional's absence, or if you experience a technical failure that prevented the session, contact hello@presencia.care within 14 days and we will refund the session. Completed sessions are generally non-refundable, but we review individual cases in good faith.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, or by emailing hello@presencia.care. On deletion we remove your personal data, except records we are legally required to retain (for example, invoicing and tax records).
Data handling
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: we do not sell or share your data, conversations are private, and data is stored on EU servers.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or in-app. Continued use of Presencia after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
